Buttonwood Park Zoo
Nearly 200 species of animals are represented in the Buttonwood Park Zoo, ranging from tiny frogs to enormous elephants. With just a couple of exceptions, all of the animals carry out the zoo's theme, "From the Berkshires to the Sea." The focus is on the land- and water-based wildlife of Massachusetts, with special emphasis on creating the natural habitats in which the animals actually live.
